Whether they wanted to or not, the Minnesota Vikings are making a change on the offensive line.
The Vikings have just announced that they have placed starting right guard Pat Elflein on the injured reserve list, meaning that he will miss at least the next three games.
Elflein is in the final year of the contract he signed when the Vikings drafted him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played center in his first couple of seasons with the Vikings before moving to left guard in 2019.
