EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) — The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday they’ve placed offensive tackle Phil Loadholt on injured reserve.
In a corresponding move, they also signed offensive tackle Stephen Goodin. Loadholt is out for the season after tearing his left Achilles tendon in Saturday’s preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Goodin, in his third year out of the University of Nebraska-Kearney, was signed as a free agent and added to the 90-man roster. He signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent after the 2012 draft and appeared in three games with the Giants in 2013.
