For the first time this regular season, the Minnesota Vikings have placed a player on their reserve/COVID-19 list.
The team has announced that cornerback Harrison Hand, who missed the Vikings’ loss to Arizona last week with an injury, has been placed on the list. The team has not (and can not) clarify whether or not Hand has actually tested positive himself or was merely a close contact of someone that did, so the amount of time that he will miss is not yet known.
As things stand right now, the Vikings have not designated anyone as being a close contact with Hand that might also put them on the COVID-19 list.
