The Vikings have moved one linebacker to Injured Reserve and filled his position with a free agent veteran.
The Minnesota Vikings have updated their roster after losing Audie Cole for the season to a fractured ankle in the game against the St. Louis Rams. As expected, the team has moved Cole to Injured Reserve, opening up a roster spot.
They have filled that position by signing free agent linebacker Jason Trusnik. The 9-year veteran was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Division III school Ohio Northern in 2007 by the New York Jets before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2009.
