MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings kept pace in the NFC playoff race with a win in Jacksonville on Sunday, and they could be closer to a return from Adrian Peterson.
Appearing on Dash Radio with Minneapolis native DJ Skee, Peterson said he's hoping to practice this week for the first time since he tore his meniscus on Sept. 22. He hopes to return for the Vikings' game against the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 24, but didn't rule out the possibility of playing against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, saying he'd have a better idea of his readiness once he practices.
