Along with the re-signing of DL Jonathan Bullard, the Minnesota Vikings announced on Tuesday that they would be parting ways with depth WR Thomas Hennigan, who they waived during the morning.
Hennigan joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent last offseason, a group of UDFA signings that also included OLB Luiji Vilain, but his season ended in training camp when he was waived and later placed on IR on August 17th.
While he is yet to make an impact in the NFL, Hennigan was a star during his collegiate days at Appalachian State. The wide receiver played five seasons with the Mountaineers, and in all, he totaled 242 receptions, 3124 yards, and 23 TDs.
