On Wednesday, the Minnesota Vikings continued their commitment to outstanding community service work by hosting their second annual “Team Up To Give Back” volunteer event at the Southside Village Boys and Girls club in Minneapolis.
All hands were on deck as Vikings players, coaches, and staff huddled together to serve lunch and pack over 35,000 meals for children in the area.
A big fan and participant of the event was Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer. Speaking with KFAN’s Paul Allen on Wednesday, Zimmer reiterated the importance of bringing in good players who can contribute both on and off the field.
