Vikings owner Zygi Wilf: Adrian Peterson 'has a good heart' and it's time to 'move on'

Speaking to the media for the first time in nine months, Vikings owner Zygi Wilf expressed excitement Wednesday about having running back Adrian Peterson back with the team.

"He has always been a part of the team, and we're very excited," Wilf said. "It's great to see the players respond to him being there."

Peterson missed virtually all of last season following a child abuse indictment last September. The Vikings' all-time leading rusher returned last week for organized team activities, his first team practices in nine months.

"It's all good for the team," Wilf said. "I'm very happy for him to be back with us.
