The Vikings are enjoying "historic highs" in television viewership and are among the NFL's leaders in online media views, a team official told lawmakers Monday.
The remarks came during a legislative commission meeting on the team's new stadium.
Lester Bagley, the team's executive vice president for public affairs, said the Vikings are enjoying a 69 percent television share -- meaning 69 percent of households watching TV in the market tune into games when they're on.
He said that figure is third-best in the league, with multiple games topping 70 percent.
"Those are huge numbers," said Bagley, noting the team has more typically been in the low 60s.
