EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced the name of the man who will announce names at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Alan Roach has been named as the future public address announcer at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Roach, a native of Slayton, Minnesota, who spent his high school years in Brainerd, told Vikings.com he’s excited to join the team he’s followed fervently since childhood.
“I’m just thrilled to do this,” Roach said. “It’s the coolest thing I’m about to ever do.”
There’s a long and distinguished list of what Roach has done. His resume includes working for the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies and four Winter Olympics (2002, 2006, 2010, 2014).
