Linval Joseph is having a moment, and like many things involving the Vikings' hulking nose tackle, it is a big one.
Halfway through a Pro Bowl-caliber season Joseph was named NFC Player of the Week on Wednesday for his monstrous performance anchoring Minnesota's defensive front in last week's 21-18 overtime victory over the St. Louis Rams.
He is the team's first defensive tackle to win the award since Kevin Williams in November 2004.
More important to him the Vikings (6-2) are riding a four-game winning streak that has them tied with wobbling Green Bay atop the NFC North as they prepare to face the Raiders on Sunday in Oakland.
