MINNETRISTA, Minn. (WCCO) — The Minnesota Vikings say team representatives and mental health professionals are at Everson Griffen’s home Wednesday, caring for the defensive end.
Earlier in the day, a video was posted to Griffen’s Instagram account in which Griffen said someone was trying to kill him in his home.
Griffen can be seen holding what appears to be a gun in the video, which he says is registered to him.
“Our only concern at this time is the safety and well-being of Everson and his family,” the Vikings said in a statement. “We will have further comment at the appropriate time.
