Vikings kicker Blair Walsh wasn't on a scouting mission, but he has been to Levi's Stadium before.
The Vikings open the regular season against the San Francisco 49ers at the second-year stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It will be the Vikings' first game there, but Walsh has been there -- to attend a Kenny Chesney concert in May.
"It was actually very windy in the beginning and then it settled down a lot," Walsh said Friday. "(The Bay area) is a weird place weather-wise. It can be cold in the summer."
Walsh, who lives in Southern California during the offseason, flew up for the concert.
