The club has struggled in back-to-back seasons running the football, ranking sixth-worst per rushing DVOA in separate seasons, 2022 and 2023. Last offseason, Vikings coaches and players said that improving the ground game was a top priority, and then nothing changed in 2023. By the numbers, the rushing system might’ve even regressed.
