MINNEAPOLIS — The legacy left by Hubert H. Humphrey has spanned multiple generations in Minnesota and beyond and remains intertwined with the Vikings.
Part of the former U.S. Vice President’s legacy — and his deep love for the Minnesota Vikings — has been honored inside U.S. Bank Stadium, which has replaced the former Metrodome that was named in honor of Humphrey.
A unique picture of Humphrey with Max Winter, a founder of the Vikings, is part of the Art Collection. Humphrey and Winter are standing together with Humphrey in a Vikings hat and holding a Vikings polo.
