Vikings greats see great promise in rookie Stefon Diggs

The Vikings used to have all sorts of wide receivers make the Pro Bowl. From 1969 to 2003, eight receivers combined for 29 selections.

Yet since Randy Moss made the team in 2003, the only other Minnesota player to be chosen to play receiver in the NFL's annual all-star game has been Sidney Rice in 2009. Koren Robinson, Percy Harvin and Cordarrelle Petterson have made appearances since then, but as kick returners.

Hall of Fame receiver and Vikings veteran Cris Carter figures that's about to change. Carter isn't predicting Stefon Diggs will make the Pro Bowl as a rookie, but he senses greatness in the fifth-round pick from Maryland.
