Vikings GM Rick Spielman: Brian Robison 'still has a lot of play in him'

MINNEAPOLIS -- In his second year in Mike Zimmer's defense, Brian Robison enjoyed a resurgent 2015 season for the Minnesota Vikings. He returned from a pectoral injury suffered in the offseason to post five sacks, play better run defense than he did in 2014 and moved inside to add some pass-rushing presence on third downs when the Vikings put rookie Danielle Hunter on the field.

The defensive end played well enough, in fact, that general manager Rick Spielman hinted Robison would likely return in 2016.

"Brian played, we thought, very well for us," Spielman said at the NFL combine on Wednesday.
