Peterson and Griffen were picked by NFL Legend Captain Jerry Rice. Barr, Bridgewater and Smith were nabbed by NFL Legend Captain Michael Irvin during Thursday’s draft in Hawaii.
The Pro Bowl is Sunday at 6 p.m. (CT) live on ESPN from Aloha Stadium in Hawaii.
Peterson, the 2007 Pro Bowl MVP, was the first Minnesota player taken off the board.
He earned his seventh Pro Bowl nod after leading the NFL with 1,485 yards and tying for the league lead with 11 touchdowns.
“He’s still one of the best,” Rice said of the 30-year-old Peterson.
