When Vikings players take the field Saturday night at TCF Bank Stadium, some plan to seek out an old friend.
Making his football return to Minnesota for the first time since he was fired in December 2013 will be Leslie Frazier, the Vikings' head coach from 2010-13. Frazier, Tampa Bay's defensive coordinator, will be on hand for the exhibition game.
"It'll be good to see Coach again," said tackle Phil Loadholt, who played all 3-1/2 seasons when Frazier was head coach. "I enjoyed playing for Coach Frazier. He's a nice dude."
Frazier was Minnesota's defensive coordinator from 2006 until taking over as coach midway through the 2010 season.
