1. WIN THE RUSHING BATTLE: With two of the worst passing offenses in the NFL, this will be a throwback game featuring Minnesota's Adrian Peterson and the Rams' Todd Gurley, a pair of physical, dynamic running backs at opposite ends of their careers. Gurley the rookie has started four games and rushed for at least 128 yards in each. He is averaging a whopping 6.1 yards per carry. Peterson has been the league's dominant running back since he bested San Diego for 296 yards and supplanted LaDainian Tomlinson as king in his 2007 rookie season. Allowing Gurley to turn the trick on their home field would be devastating in more ways than one for the Vikings.
