Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Vikings are finalizing a five-year extension for CB Xavier Rhodes.
Yesterday, Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press reported that Minnesota was close to finalizing a lucrative contract extension with Rhodes and his source expected it to be close to $70 million over the course of five years.
Earlier in the week, former NFL cornerback Terrell Buckley, the mentor of Rhodes, mentioned that there’s a “high probability” the Vikings cornerback signs a long-term extension with Minnesota this week.
