With Latavius Murray leaving for the New Orleans Saints in free agency and the future of Roc Thomas looking very much in doubt after his arrest, the Minnesota Vikings suddenly find themselves in need of another running back.
The Vikings do have talent on the depth chart in Dalvin Cook and Mike Boone. The problem is that Cook can’t stay healthy and Boone is untested. They did re-sign Ameer Abdullah, but he will be looked at as more of a return man.
Running back has shot way up the Vikings needs list and it’s very likely the team could consider drafting one as early as round two.
