Vikings Designate Ivan Pace Jr. for Return, Sign CB Ambry Thomas to Practice Squad

Christopher Gates has been the lead writer at The Daily Norseman since the site launched in July of 2006, covering the Minnesota Vikings day in and day out.

On Christmas Eve, the Minnesota Vikings gave themselves a gift that could prove to be very important as they prepare for their crucial NFC North matchup against Green Bay at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The team announced that they have designated linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. to return from injured reserve and that he will resume practicing this week in preparation for this Sunday’s game.

Pace has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury he suffered in the Vikings’ overtime victory over the Chicago Bears back in Week 12.
