Two Vikings second-year defensive line reserves have been banged up this preseason, but one is back and the other is set to return soon.
Defensive end Scott Crichton missed the first two exhibition games because of a sprained left ankle before returning last Saturday against Oakland. Defensive tackle Shamar Stephen, who had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, will miss his third straight preseason game Saturday at Dallas.
Stephen, though, has been walking around the practice field this week with his knee in a sleeve. Vikings coach Mike Zimmer reiterated Wednesday he should be back for the Sept.
