Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes passed the NFL's concussion protocol and is scheduled to resume practicing Wednesday, according to coach Mike Zimmer.
"He's passed. He's good," Zimmer said before the workout at Winter Park.
Barring a setback, Rhodes should be ready to face future hall of fame quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
He suffered a concussion after his collision with teammate Andrew Sendejo in the victory over San Diego. He left just before halftime and did not return.
Rhodes was laid out face-first on the turf at TCF Bank Stadium after Sendejo crashed into him as the pair tried to defend Keenan Allen, who caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Philip Rivers.
