Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson returned to practice Wednesday for the first time in four months, moving from the physically unable to perform list to limbo.
Last year's regular at left corner became eligible to rejoin the team this week after being placed on the PUP list July 26 when training camp opened. He injured himself falling on his right shoulder during June minicamp but did not need surgery.
The Vikings can activate him for Sunday's game against the Lions in Detroit, but they would have to make remove a player from on their 53-man roster. They can keep Robinson inactive for five weeks.
