The Vikings have not even opened training camp and already they are down another defensive back.
The NFL on Friday suspended second-year cornerback Jabari Price without pay for the first two games of the 2015 regular season for violating the Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, according to a league spokesman.
Price, who plea bargained a December DWI arrest down to careless driving in April, can participate in camp and play preseason games but cannot be activated until Week 3.
"I sincerely apologize to my family, my teammates, the Vikings organization and Vikings fans for the mistake I made last winter," Price said in a statement released through the Players Association.
