Vikings' Cordarrelle Patterson on TD return: 'No way I could miss that hole'

The ghost of Cordarrelle Patterson appeared in the Vikings' locker room during Wednesday's media session to talk about his touchdown against Oakland, which evoked visions of magical kick returns past.

Patterson's 93-yard second-quarter score was the most unexpected but most important score of Minnesota's 30-14 victory on Sunday.

In the 13 seconds it took for Patterson to scoop up Sebastian Janikowski's squib kick and slingshot past a wall of blockers on the near sideline, he erased the Raiders' only lead of the game and regained momentum for the Vikings.

"I don't feel like it was a game changer," Patterson said.
