During the current offseason, the biggest departure for the Minnesota Vikings has probably been defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. But after Tuesday, the Vikings are losing an even bigger part of their organization.
On Tuesday, it was announced that current Minnesota Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Warren, has been named the new Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference. Warren will take over the role previously held by Jim Delany, who announced he would be stepping down from the position in March.
Delany was the Commissioner of the Big Ten for more than 30 years and under his leadership, the conference grew into one of the most powerful in all of college sports.
