MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday morning that head coach Mike Zimmer had a minor medical procedure Tuesday morning.
Due to the procedure, he won’t be addressing the media for what was a scheduled 4 p.m. news conference. Team officials said he will be available at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The news comes after the Vikings had another rough performance in a 20-10 loss to the Chicago Bears Monday night. The Vikings are 5-2 and still have a one game lead over the Green Packers in the NFC North Division.
It’s not known what the medical procedure was or the severity of it.
