The Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday completed their purchase of the former Northwest Airlines property in Eagan, an expansive site where the team hopes build a headquarters, a practice facility and a mix of retail and housing.
The team closed the deal on the 185-acre site with Opportunity Partners Fund IV, an investment fund affiliated with the Excelsior Group, a St. Louis Park real estate firm that acquired the property from Delta Air Lines in June for $10.4 million.
The team did not disclose how much it paid for the land just east of Dodd Road and south of Interstate 494.
