Vikings Clamp Down on Raiders 30-14

Teddy Bridgewater returned to action with a touchdown drive on the Vikings first possession, and Cordarrelle Patterson returned a kickoff for a touchdown to help Minnesota defeat Oakland 30-14 and move into sole possession of first place in the NFC North.

Terence Newman intercepted Derek Carr in the end zone just before the two-minute warning, and Adrian Peterson rushed for an 80-yard touchdown on the following snap to seal the victory and move the Vikings to 7-2, equaling their win total from 2014.

Bridgewater bounced back from a concussion he suffered the previous week and led the Vikings 80 yards in eight plays that ended with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Rhett Ellison, who caught the ball shy of the goal line, but powered through a tackle.
