Vikings center John Sullivan feels guilty about being injured, and he can't help it.
Entering the season, Sullivan had played in 109 of 112 games in his first seven NFL seasons and started 57 straight games. That streak ended two weeks ago when a back injury forced him to be placed on injured reserve with a designation to return.
"There's a measure of guilt, yeah, and I've spoken with my wife (Ariel) and the rest of my family and my support system, the training staff here, and I understand it's completely illogical to feel guilty about being injured, especially in this sport," Sullivan said Thursday.
