There is no denying that the NFL career of Terence Newman is amazing. The Minnesota Vikings cornerback from Selina, Kansas will turn 40 years old on September 4, 2018, but shows no signs of preparing to hang up his cleats and retire.
In fact, Newman seems to actually improve with age, using his experience and football intelligence to put himself in positions to make plays against some of the biggest, strongest, and fastest receivers the NFL has to offer.
The question of whether or not he would return for his 16th season in the league is one that fans won’t need to wait for an answer to, as Newman made his intentions clear on Radio Row at Super Bowl 52 when speaking with Paul Allen as shared on the official Vikings website:
“I want to play [next season], because we made it to an NFC Championship.
