MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan hosted one of his three annual events at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital last week, holding his annual Halloween party with eight teammates at the hospital. For one child in particular, the day was especially significant.
Sullivan and Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph met a young boy named Anton, who suffers from a rare genetic condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa. The condition causes him to lose his top layer of skin, leading to excessive blistering and scarring. According to a Facebook page maintained by Vanessa Delgado, Anton's adoptive mother, Anton had spent more than 100 days in the hospital.
