Vikings: Blair Walsh gets indoor stadium assist for five field goals

DETROIT -- Dome, sweet dome.

Vikings Kicker Blair Walsh loves playing indoors, and Sunday was the only regular-season game he will get to do that this season. He made the most of it.

In Minnesota's 28-19 victory over Detroit at Ford Field, Walsh tied his career high with five field goals. He first did that as a rookie in 2012 indoors at St. Louis.

"I love domes," Walsh said. "I think most kickers love domes."

Walsh played his home games indoors at the Metrodome in 2012-13 before the Vikings went outdoors to TCF Bank Stadium in 2014 for a two-year run.
