MANKATO, Minn. -- Thumping commences this afternoon at Vikings training camp, rain or shine, and second-year linebacker Anthony Barr is scheduled to participate after nursing a knee injury throughout the off-season.
The team will hold its first full-padded practice since late December at Minnesota State Mankato. Barr will rejoin the defensive huddle after missing the bulk of full-team practices during the Vikings' offseason program.
"He's feeling good," coach Mike Zimmer said. "He's worked hard on his conditioning the last two days on the side, so we'll get him going a little more, put him in the mix.
