Vikings and KFAN announce extension of broadcast rights deal

You'll hear the Vikings in a familar place on the radio for at least five more years, with KFAN announcing Wendesday an extension of its broadcast deal with the team.

The station, owned by Texas-based iHeartMedia, is coming up on 15 years of Vikings games this season.

It made the announcement in a video that featured broadcaster Paul Allen in a team hardhat, standing in the new under-construction stadium and imaging calling a Vikings interception and touchdown return of an Aaron Rodgers pass. (As far as we can tell, that's never happened, but there's always hope).
