MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings brought another one of their own players back Tuesday morning, agreeing to a one-year contract with linebacker Audie Cole.
Cole, who broke his ankle in November and missed the Vikings' final nine games, has been a valuable special teams contributor and occasional starter at both middle and outside linebacker. He replaced an injured Eric Kendricks on Nov. 8 against the St. Louis Rams, playing 33 snaps that day before fracturing his right ankle in the fourth quarter. The Vikings placed Cole on injured reserve two days later.
