Adrian Peterson assumes everyone knows he wants to win his third NFL rushing title.
The Vikings running back led the league with 1,760 yards in 2008 and with 2,097 in 2012. Peterson now has taken over the NFL lead with 291 yards in three games.
"That's one of my personal goals," Peterson said Thursday. "I'm sitting here and talking about 2,500 yards (for the season) and I better get the rushing title. So that's definitely one of my goals."
It Peterson, 30, reaches it, he would become the eighth player to win three or more NFL rushing titles.
