Adrian Peterson spoke last week about how he will stay in shape for training c he didn't mention anything about playing basketball.
The Vikings running back played in the Bobby Maze Celebrity Basketball Game on Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn. Maze and Peterson became friends at Oklahoma, where Maze played basketball as a freshman in 2006-07 before transferring to Tennessee.
"I haven't been able to make it the last couple of years, so I made a promise to (Maze) no matter what, that I'd be coming and joining this year, no matter what," Peterson told the Maryville Daily Times.
