MANKATO, Minn. -- Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson left the field midway through practice Tuesday and didn't return because of a leg issue, but there seemed to be no immediate concern from the Vikings.
Peterson went down on a running play midway through the training camp workout and a defender fell on his right leg. He limped off before returning to the practice field for one play of drills. He then left for the locker room with athletic trainer Eric Sugarman with no apparent limp.
"He got tangled up and a defender fell on him, but he said he was all right," running back Jerick McKinnon said.
