During the first day of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings were able to land one of the top cornerback prospects available in Jeff Gladney. On Friday, the Vikings went ahead and added another young prospect to their current group of corners.
With pick No. 89 in the third round, Minnesota selected former Mississippi State cornerback, Cameron Dantzler.
Dantzler had an impressive career at Mississippi State, but thanks to running his 40-yard dash in just 4.64 seconds at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine, he was still on the board when it came time for the Vikings to make their first pick in the third round on Friday night.
