MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday they’ve activated cornerback Josh Robinson from the physically unable to perform list.
To make room for him on the team’s 53-man roster, the Vikings have waived tight end Chase Ford. In 20 career games, Ford has 34 receptions for 391 yards and a touchdown.
Robinson tore a pectoral muscle in offseason minicamp and did not participated in practice at all during training camp. Last year, Robinson made 40 tackles and had three interceptions.
He is expected to suit up and see some playing time Sunday when the Vikings travel to Oakland to face the Raiders.
