The Vikings' stupendous run last season , a march that took them to the precipice of playing Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium, is officially out of view now that the 2018 NFL schedule has been released.
The Vikings will open the season against the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 9 at U.S. Bank Stadium, followed by a Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 16 Lambeau Field. The regular season ends at home Dec. 30 against the Chicago Bears. The Vikings get the Packers at home on Nov. 25.
They return to the site of last year's season-ending 38-7 debacle — Lincoln Financial Field — when they play the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5 on Oct.
