MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Just as the finishing touches are put on U.S. Bank Stadium, the new home for the Minnesota Vikings, there’s already been at least one repair to make before it’s officially open.
Officials will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday for the $1.1 billion facility. That will be followed by tours throughout the weekend. More than 100,000 tickets have been claimed for those tours.
But at least one unexpected repair will have to take place as fans get their first look at U.S. Bank Stadium. According to “Vikesologist,” a Vikings season ticket-holder on Twitter, someone broke a window near an entrance to U.
