MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — U.S. Bank Stadium is a lot more colorful place after the installation of some amazing works of art.
On Monday night, more than 40 local and national artists, 48 students and 12 muralists commissioned for the project saw their artwork installed.
Those in attendance took part in self-guided tours of the robust art collection throughout the stadium.
The event also included remarks from Vikings owner and president Mark Wilf who thinks fans will really enjoy it.
“I think they’ll just connect in an emotional way about what Vikings games meant in their youth, experiences about Minnesota and their life here in Minnesota,” Wilf said.
