Vikings Given Green Light To Finalize Pregame Plans
After years of collaboration between the Minnesota Vikings, the city of Minneapolis and multiple local neighborhoods, tailgating has been approved for U.S. Bank Stadium.
Last week, the Minneapolis City Council approved the tailgating zone that now allows the Vikings to begin working with private lot owners in the vicinity of U.S. Bank Stadium to ensure ample tailgating opportunities for fans before home games.
With over $1 billion invested in the revitalization of Downtown East since the stadium’s plans were approved, former tailgating lots have been lost.
