Pedestrian Bridge for U.S. Bank Stadium Receives Approval
Earlier this week the Star Tribune reported that the Metropolitan Council approved a $7 million pedestrian bridge that will cross the light-rail tracks at the Downtown East transit station, safely connecting light-rail users to the stadium. With wide staircases and two elevator banks, the bridge will allow for easy access to the stadium from those that opt to use the light-rail as their method of transportation to and from Vikings games along with the hundreds of other events the new stadium is expected to host. The Vikings are expected to cover $3.
