U.S. Bank Stadium light testing results in dazzling display

MINNEAPOLIS -- In addition to letting in streams of natural light, the ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) roof and five pivoting glass doors at U.S. Bank Stadium can create quite a spectacle by letting light out at night, too. That was certainly the case on Thursday night, when testing at the new stadium resulted in an impromptu light show in downtown Minneapolis.

I happened to be walking by the plaza on the west side of the stadium around dusk, on my way back from running the TC 1 Mile in downtown on Thursday night, when I saw the lights on the stadium's east scoreboard changing colors.
